Just another Mirth-filled Monday:1st cup...(with subtitles)

"From the rising to the setting of the sun...the name of the Muse is to be praised..."

Reveille...

"I've "bean" in my mind...it's such a fine mind..."

As I was waking, the following "grounds" were percolating in my brain...

"...and the sign flashed out its warning...in the words that it was forming..."

“Unless Maxwell fills the cup, they labour in vein who build it”

“It's good to the last trumpet”

“It’s the Smart choice!”

..."Because it's filtered through the cone of Silex."

What's brewing in space?

"Good to the last trumpet...or crumpet...croissant...or bagel...or drop..."

A word to the wise...before the Head Waiter/Maitre'd calls OUR numbers...

Before the last trumpet...

Friends don't let friends drink INSTANT!

Unless it's a dire emergency...

When in Paris...

Seems like a French vibe developed as I used "ma plume" ("pen") to follow the French bread crumbs...and Captain Renault as he "rounds up the usual suspects...

Lord knows that's a "pain" in the ass...

To raise a few more francs to supplement his police wages, Inspector Clouseau opened a chain of coffee stands that bear his moniker:

Silex Piano...

The Silex Piano is a musical instrument of the Lithophone family. It was created by Honoré Baudre, circa 1885 and was described in several contemporary publications.

An 1875 article in The Times[2] refers to an instrument which its inventor, Honoré Baudre, had been exhibiting "during the last 20 years, principally in the Paris neighbourhood". It was reported to contain 28 flint stones, exactly as they had been quarried from the chalk. There was another performance of the "geological piano" on January 7, 1876[3] at the "Royal Polytechnic", with entry charged at one shilling.

Folger's" Believe it or not"

A little while after rising, as I was getting ready for my kundalini yoga practice, I pulled up YouTube on our Roku and this was the first video...

"Greetings, Pilgrim, your search has ended..."

These apparent synchronicities are becoming a daily occurence...the YouTuber - "Melody for Memory" put an instrumental version of Paul & Art's as the first song on the video!

I'm a believer...and now a Subscriber...!"

Greetings, Pilgrim, your search has ended...

"Krafty" shenananigans: "Thou shalt not MISlabel"

--A $16 million Kraft Heinz Goods Co. settlement has received final approval from a Florida judge, ending claims the company overstated the amount of grounds in its Maxwell House and Yuban brands’ coffee containers.

Care for another cup?

As I've said in recent posts, this song find is yet another example of "Why I love my job"...

Who's "Maxwell"?

[Paul] McCartney's wife Linda said that he had become interested in avant-garde theatre and had immersed himself in the writings of the experimental French author Alfred Jarry. This influence is reflected in the story and tone of "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", and also explains how McCartney came across Jarry's word "pataphysical", which occurs in the lyrics.[10] In 1994, McCartney said that the song epitomises the downfalls of life, being "my analogy for when something goes wrong out of the blue, as it so often does, as I was beginning to find out at that time in my life. I wanted something symbolic of that, so to me it was some fictitious character called Maxwell with a silver hammer. I don't know why it was silver, it just sounded better than Maxwell's hammer."[5]

Is he related to the Marquis deSade?
